The Last Picture Show

"What is this movie about" as said by my aunt millions of times while watching this film (and many of the other films I've viewed the past week) I realized like any many films there is never a real plot, but more of a story to be told. The last picture show was one of these films. The story of a small town Texas teenage boy in the 1950's, viewers will be quite surprised at how much has changed since then (even though the film was made and 1971). In the end I enjoyed the film starring Jeff Bridges and Cybil Shepard, and realize there's a reason it ended up on the list. The bottom line though is this, when I started this challenge it took a moment to realize how much of a challenge it would actually be. Over the past week I've saw films that I probably would have never viewed or never heard of for that matter and no doubt have I become more open-minded while watching films that are very popular, to foreign films that are unknown by many. So if this blog inspires you to watch any of the films posted, erase all expectations and go experience something new.
